Katherine Good is passionate about historic architecture and its preservation for future generations. She endeavors to restore and preserve buildings and cultural landscapes that tell the story of our culture, enhances communities, connects people with their shared history, and energizes their surroundings. As a valuable part of the Historic Preservation team, she has over fourteen years of experience in the practice of architecture for historic preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive re-use projects. Project types have varied including non-profit, large campus documentation, building restoration programs, multi-family apartments, institutional buildings, and State and Federal Tax Credits. Ms. Good continues to evolve as a preservation professional with a growing knowledge in Building Conservation issues, building assessment, and the treatment of historic materials. Her knowledge in the technical production of project design, contract documents, specifications, construction administration aid the design team in producing high quality projects for clients. She is experienced with a broad range of interactions with local, state, and federal preservation agencies. Ms. Good strives to educate others about historic buildings, landscapes, and communities while challenging them to redefine their views around historic preservation.
